The interior of each niche is lined with Christy's Fibrelyte liner and covered with a Fibrelyte Protective Security Shutter. Fibrelyte is an attractive, strong and durable material made from polyester resins and fiberglass along with ultra violet inhibitors. It is non-combustible and provides a clean marbled appearance that also helps protect the niche interior from invasive dust, insects and the elements.

The niches can be manufactured in many different configurations, making them suitable for a wide variety of designs and locations. Because of their high structural strength, they can be used to support overhead structures for added aesthetics, shade, and weather protection.
